Privacy Policy of SIA "GeoNovus Latvija"

The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to provide a natural person – the data subject – with information about the purpose, scope, protection, and processing period of personal data at the time of data collection and during the processing of the data subject’s personal data.

SIA “GeoNovus Latvija” complies with the requirements of personal data protection regulatory acts and ensures that only the information necessary to achieve the objectives set out in the Privacy Policy is collected in each data processing process.

2. Scope of the Privacy Policy

The Controller ensures the privacy and protection of personal data, respecting the rights of persons to lawful processing of personal data in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (hereinafter – the Regulation) and other regulatory acts in the field of privacy and data processing.

3. GeoNovus Processes Personal Data for the Following Purposes:

3.1.1. Identification of the client when receiving and delivering instruments, issuing goods;

3.1.2. Appointment processing, reminders for instrument maintenance and software updates;

3.1.3. Sending invitations for presentations, seminars, and exhibitions;

3.1.6. Debt collection from debtors;

3.1.7. Handling objections/complaints and quality control;

3.1.8. Preparation and administration of contracts with clients.

3.2. Selection of candidates and potential employees for evaluating their professional suitability for a position. The processing of personal data is based on legal grounds and the aim of concluding a contract.

3.3. Establishment and administration of employment relationships within employment legal frameworks.

3.4. Ensuring the provision of services and contract execution (preparation, conclusion, or amendment of contracts).

3.5. Advertising and distribution of services for commercial purposes.

3.6. Reviewing and processing applications, complaints, and claims.

4.1. The information obtained about a person depends on the nature of the transaction. It also includes information provided during cooperation.

4.2.1. The data subject (person) provides information directly, e.g., during communication, cooperation, service acquisition, contract conclusion, information request, or event participation.

4.2.2. While visiting the GeoNovus website, cookies may be used, which are disclosed during website visits.

5.1. Contract conclusion and performance – to execute a contract based on an application.

5.2. Compliance with legal obligations – to fulfill obligations or rights stipulated by law.
