DJI Terra allows planning various flight and mapping missions, such as waypoint flights, 2D area mapping, 3D photography with oblique camera angles, and linear object mapping.

Automated flight missions make it easy to map various objects, such as roads, railways, and power lines, simply by drawing or importing the centerline.

Real-time mapping is a unique DJI Terra feature that enables generating an orthophoto map even before the drone lands after the flight mission. This is particularly useful when information needs to be obtained quickly for decision-making.

You can use the same computer with DJI Terra installed for mission planning in the office, flight control in the field, real-time orthophoto map generation on-site, or detailed result processing in the office.

Key Features

• 2D and 3D Reconstruction: By importing aerial images, DJI Terra can quickly generate high-precision 2D orthophoto maps and realistic 3D models, useful for surveying, documenting accident sites, inspecting power grid equipment, and monitoring construction projects.

• LiDAR Data Processing: In collaboration with DJI Zenmuse LiDAR sensors, DJI Terra can create high-precision point clouds and classify them with a single click, which is crucial for accurate topographic mapping and infrastructure monitoring.

• Real-Time Reconstruction: The software can generate 2D orthophoto maps or 3D models in real-time during the flight, ensuring immediate data availability and faster decision-making.

System Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit) or later.
• Processor: Intel i5 or newer.
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA graphics card with a computing capability of at least 3.0. It is recommended to use GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or a higher model.
• VRAM: At least 4 GB.
• RAM: Minimum 16 GB; 32 GB or more recommended for faster processing and handling larger datasets.
• Storage: At least 50 GB of free space; an SSD with an additional 50 GB of free space is recommended for improved performance.

Compatibility

DJI Terra is compatible not only with the DJI Phantom 4 series (Phantom 4 RTK, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4) but also with Phantom 4 Multispectral and Mavic 3 Multispectral – a specialized DJI drone with a multispectral camera. After collecting data with the Phantom 4 RTK Multispectral, you can calculate the following vegetation coverage indices: NDVI, GNDVI, NDRE, LCI, OSAVI.

Additional Features

Licensing Options

DJI Terra is available as both a perpetual license and an annual subscription. Three functionality packages are available:

1. Advanced – Suitable for basic 2D functionality.
2. Pro – For creating 3D models and importing contour lines.
3. Electricity – A special version for power line inspections.
