With Trimble X9, Trimble provides the ability to:

• View scanned data on-site (2D/3D from the station point, all points).
• Merge (register) new scan stations with previous ones (automatically by default).
• View shaded data in real (RGB) colors in the field.
• Refine data in the field and generate a report (Refinement).
• Immediately export data in various formats (industry standards, without the need to return to the office).
• Add annotations (key points, targets, points of interest, floors, stairs, wells), attach photos and descriptions.
• Take field measurements – precise data (distances, coordinates of any scanned point).
• Manually merge scan stations using common points.
• Utilize data during new station scans.
• Automatically capture panoramas (standard and HDR).
• Georeference measurements before returning to the office. Previously, georeferencing scanned data was only possible using Trimble RealWorks or Trimble Business Center office software, but now it can be done in the field.
